SELLING A HOME

Selling a home can be a lengthy and  stressful process -  As a seller, your relationship with your real estate professional is very important - So choose wisely-choose someone that you feel very comfortable with; one who will handle the sale of your home as if it were their own. We will not take it for granted that you know all the ins and outs of the selling or buying process, but will provide you with a full explanation of exactly what to expect - so you're not faced with any surprises along the way.

Pricing Your Home:
Price it right the first time.  Arriving at an accurate estimate of value for your home is one of a real estate professional’s primary tasks. It involves analyzing your home and comparing it to other, similar houses for sale or recently sold in the neighbourhood.  Be sure the price you set reflects the true value of your home under current market conditions.

Preparing your home:

A seller that can emotionially detach from their home will have more success.  Declutter your home and pack up all your personal items.

De-personalize. . Buyers want to visualize your house being their home  – and it’s difficult for them to do that with all your personal items  everywhere in the house. Do this – pretend you’re moving out.  Pack up all those personal things and put them in storage.

De-clutter - Anything that is sitting on top of a countertop. Anything that you haven’t used in at least a year? That goes, too. Give away what you can, donate or throw away  what remains, and then pack the rest to get it ready to move.

Make a good first impression. It's tough if not impossible to make a good second one.
